Cheese, wine and money.
80% of women surveyed by the FSC rated their financial wellbeing moderate, low or very low and the Financial Services Council in NZ are taking action. They are currently running a three-month campaign to improve the financial wellbeing of women. As part of this the FSC has released ‘conversation cards’ with conversation starters. So grab some girlfriends, a cheeseboard and your drink of choice and let’s get those money conversations started.
Below is a round up of my 10 favourite conversation starters:
How much of your income do you save?
Who taught you about money?
Do you every go to bed worried about money?
What would you change about your life if money was no object?
What makes someone good with money?
What’s one thing you would tell your younger self about money?
How have you gone bout negotiating a pay rise?
What’s one thing you want to do differently with money this year?
Who is the best at managing money in your household?
How have your beliefs about money changed over the years?
